Electronics Recycling to Celebrate Earth Week

April 24, 2019

Electronic devices, like TVs, computers, cell phones and microwaves are made of plastic casings, metal, plastic or glass screens and a variety of metals in the wiring and circuit boards. Some of these can be recycled and some need special handling, making recycling them the right way even more important.

Electronic waste can be dropped off at three Kent County facilities or a handful of locations in the community. See the whole list of locations here. Check with each location for a list of what is accepted and any associated fees.

Thanks for keeping these valuable and potentially dangerous materials out of the trash!
