Don't Trash Holiday String Lights!

If you pulled your holiday string lights out of storage and found that they don’t work, don’t trash them! Please recycle them by dropping them off at our recycling stations:

Rockford Recycling Station @
North Kent Recycling & Waste Center
2908 Ten Mile, Rockford
Monday-Saturday 7:30am-5:00pm

Kentwood Recycling Station @
Kentwood Public Works Facility
5068 Breton Road, Kentwood
Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm
(and weekends and evenings when the gates are open)

Grand Rapids Recycling Station @
Kent County Recycling & Education Center
977 Wealthy SW, Grand Rapids
Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm

Look for these signs and cardboard or metal boxes and drop your string lights in! Please…. don’t put string lights in your home recycling bins or Kent County’s large drop-off recycling boxes!
