Christmas Tree Shredding

December 28, 2016

(updated 12/29/16)

Instead of putting your live tree out by the curb to be hauled off as trash, consider giving it new life as a trail, a garden bed or a part of a playground!

As many as 30 million Christmas trees are purchased each year – imagine if those all went to the landfill after the ornaments are taken down. Take advantage of the collection programs available in the region to make better use of your Christmas gem.
